Eye of the Needle Mystery Events
Emily (EJVDesigns) teams up with her favorite author (her mom, Phyllis Van) to create a fun way for shops to engage their customers. Each Mystery Event is essentially an “Event-In-A-Box” and includes instructions, clues, activities and inspiration for an afternoon or whole weekend of fun for stitchers.
These games have been designed for you to use with your customers in a ‘backroom’ retreat. The events participatory in that your guests/customers can come in costume and participate in the drama. Add some food, some stitching and some really great specials and sales to make your cash register ring. Way to get people into your store. And when they are there, they buy stuff. Mystery in a box!

- Alexia Grayson, a talented designer and accomplished businesswoman in the counted thread industry has invited special guests to a stitching weekend at Seaside stitch. It is rumored that she has a special announcement to make.
- Seaside Stitch is an old Queen Anne style house on the Oregon shore. Cassie Irons has worked hard to transform the first level of the house into a top of the line cross stitch store and has just renovated the second level into a charming lodging area. With the help of her next door neighbor, who runs the KnifeForkSpoon Pub, she hopes this first foray into the B&B world will set the stage for future successes.
